First Year Photoshoot Fun and Adventures with Team Cwtchie

At Cwtchie, we love to show our customers beautiful lifestyle images of our cloud soft hoodie blankets.
This year we’ve been lucky to team up with Cardiff photographer Owen Mathias to showcase the blanket hoodies at their best.
Our first shoot took in the glories of Newton beach with local models from Porthcawl. The children, modelling our Rainbow and Koala hoodies, loved running wild through the dunes before enjoying marshmallows and chocolate in a cosy family camping scene. The models, young and old, took turns jumping from the dunes and dog walking the star of the show, Billy!
As dusk fell, Cwtchie hoodie blankets proved to be the perfect cosy layer to stay the light September chill, keeping the models toasty whilst enjoying some time in the tent.
The Christmas shoot, held in early November, proved equally popular with the Cardiff models who enjoyed decorating an early tree and wrapping the sumptuous hoodie blankets to place beneath it.
Brother and sister duo Megan and Macsen especially loved the early Christmas stocking treats, enjoyed with Macs, our canine model. All agreed that their wearable blankets were perfect for relaxing on the sofa and enjoying a Christmas movie – and promptly put a Cwtchie on their Christmas list!
The 2023 shoot, held at Coed Hills artisan centre, enjoyed an autumnal cosy vibe. Starting in the fairy woods with our youngest models enjoying the dens and woodcutters cottage, the photographs have an ethereal , fairy-tale feel.
The blanket hoodies kept out the October chill as the crew moved to the beautiful Gypsy Caravan and Shepherd’s huts, enjoying the wonderful autumn hues of the gardens. The standing stone images furthered the other-worldly feel of the shoot, against a late afternoon sky.
The shoot finished in the cosy lounge area of the great hall, with models snuggling into the hoodie blankets and each other on the vast sofas.
The thick, cosy Sherpa and flannel fleece proved to be perfect as the models enjoyed the over sized hoodie blankets in all seasons and locations.
