On the 22nd of December our hoodie blankets appeared on the Welsh language daily magazine programme Prynhawn Da, on S4C.
The lovely Jeia Puri-Evans talked to co founder, Anna Lloyd Owen and started by asking – what is a hoodie blanket? Anna explained that it’s a warm knee length wearable blanket with arms and a hood that you can walk around in. When wearing a Cwtchie, you’ll no longer feel cold when moving from the warmth of snuggling on the sofa, to making a cuppa in the kitchen.
Anna described how our hoodie blankets are made exclusively for us, unlike the lightweight, cheap versions available on the internet and in budget stores. Every Cwtchie is made from 250g flannel fleece and 200g Sherpa fleece ensuring both wonderful quality and dependable warmth.
Jeia was interested to know why wearable blankets have become popular. Anna explained that as hoodie blankets are suitable for indoor and outdoor wear Cwtchie wearers enjoy year-round benefits. They are ideal for camping trips, evenings down the beach, or just snuggling up toasty warm on the sofa watching tv. Blanket hoodies are also a great way to stay warm while keeping heating to a minimum.
